Back to Trinidad and America

Our trip back to Trinidad was quite uneventful. We left at two
in the afternoon from Carriacou and arrived at Chaguaramas Customs
Dock at eight the next morning. We got contracts signed and airline
tickets booked within three weeks and high=tailed it back to
the US on an uneventful flight from Miami.

Then AA lost not only our luggage but everyone else's and the
plane. By the time the plane was found and luggage and passengers
reunited to go through customs, we had missed the one flight
to Richmond from Miami. We spent the night there and arrived
in Norfolk the next day at six thirty pm. I guess you could
say that it's easier to sail 100 miles than fly 1200, but I
don't think I would go that far.

By the way, Jack saw an orthopedist in Trini for his knee and
had him take a look at his shoulder. He had broken it, but it
was healing nicely by then.

If you'd like to see pictures of our cruiser's winter in the
Caribbean, just send us an email back and we will send you an
invitation to Kodak gallery, which has been completely changed
since we used it last. You won't have to sign in.

Since we will be in the States until January, we'll stop sending
out emails until there's something of note to report. If you're
cruising in the Chesapeake or near southern Virginia give us
a call or send us an email, we'd love to see you.
